Cool...

Lovin' this song. I can tell you worked hard on this. Love the instruments.

My favorite part. Absolutely beautiful. The voice of an angel.

My only complaint would be that the bass, if there is any, should be louder. Other than that, great work!

That can't be right. Something like this deserves higher.

Impressive.

In all honesty, I am impressed with this cover. I may just now try and cover this song myself lol.

Y'know, this Oil Ocean doesn't sound at all Indian. It has a very Spanish vibe to it. I like it! Listening to this, I can imagine myself riding across the desert and riding into the sunset.

I would like to see what the improved version of this cover would sound like.

Happy happy!

Likin' this mix. Every artist has to do a Tetris remix at some point lol. There's nothing wrong with it. It's just the fact that there are many other Tetris remixes already.

Really liked the sound you used there. Certainly is something I've never heard of before. Something fresh.

I like it really. Good sound and good variety. Great mix as always!

Anthouse21 responds:

Alright! Thanks man, that effect is actually something i made along time ago u can hear it more on my RYU mix http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/liste n/172188 very old but good track. And yes everyone has to do a tetris track lol!

Respect.

First off, love the intro. Never get tired of that little "Anthouse Beat VROOM" intro lol. You took DavidOrr's epic orchestral and added you're usual hip-hop flavor. I like it!

Liking the lyrics here. How long have you been working on this flow? I especially like how the lyrics progress with the story. From fighting the catfish all the way to the final battle with the evil magician.

A little hitch though. It's actually Orange, not Yellow. It's no problem really, because Yellow works just as well.

Definitely your best Castle Crasher track.

Anthouse21 responds:

LOL My friend told me that about the yellow orange thing, orange just didnt sound right at all to me. But thanks im glad u noticed the storyline also. I actually had this idea for this song last year sometime but u know how that goes. But great comment and i thank ya again!

Disappointing...

to say the least. It's a good remake I'll give you that, but that's just it. A remake.

I was waiting for the song to take off into something awesome, but it was the same thing for 3 minutes. When I heard the 8-bit intro, I was expecting a transition into a different sound. I thought it would change into an epic orchestra or awesome techno but alas, it stayed 8-bit throughout.

If there's one thing it's missing, it's variety. It's good that you got the song down note by note, but you should mix it up a little. Add your own personal touch to it rather than simply recreating it.

I love the nostalgia I get from this song though. Like I said, good remake!

Rage of the Champions.

Love the hip hop flavor you added to this. I turned off the music while playing Toss the Turtle and listened to this instead lol.

My only complaint is that this could loop better. Of course, this was also my complaint for the original.

Great mix!

Anthouse21 responds:

lol what is toos the turtle??? Anyways glad u liked it

Peaceful...

Good choice of instruments. Nice use of reverb. Very peaceful. I can just close my eyes and drift to sleep listening to this.

I can hear there is more than bells in this track, although I can barely hear the other instruments. The bells drown out the strings, giving them a faint sound. Making sure each instrument is heard clearly would be the only thing to improve on.

Aside from that, good work!

Majorgeneral responds:

thanks for the review

I'm gettin' down to this!

The tone quality isn't all that bad. Not perfect, but still manages a good sound. Y'know, this could very easily fit as a menu song, or even a credits theme. Yes, this song should definitely be used in a Flash!

Lovin' the groovy beats! ^__^

edge9 responds:

Thanks man. I think I'll upload a new jam like this soon with a better bass.

Nice.

Very nostalgic. I like it!

I like the sounds you used for this track. The pipe hit sound adds to the nostalgia, which makes this even better. My only complaint with the pipe hit is that it seems to be a tad off.

On another note, the percussion could have been louder. The kicks at 1:20 could have been louder as well.

Aside from that, good job! Brought back some good memories.

Majorgeneral responds:

thanks for the review.

Sexy.

So nice to hear a new twist on this song. Very different. Very original. Not unlike most other Oil Ocean remixes. I love it! This song would be awesome to hear in any Indian restaurant.

I like the variety in this track. I notice changes here and there as the song progresses. Good move.

My favorite part. Great ending!

5/5 and 10/10!

PaulyBFromDa303 responds:

Thank you so much. Yeah I was getting tired of every Oil Ocean remix sounding the same anyway lol

And 3:38 was my favorite part to make too.
