as far as suggestions go, i would suggest you start from the bottom up. get yourself a good percussion track first then add onto that. or begin with a good bassline to drive the track. random notes placed all willy-nilly usually do not result in a song.
everything about this is random. i appreciate randomness as much as the next guy, but none of this pieces together well.

you have certainly hit the nail on remixing this. the techno twist on this is something i happen to enjoy.
i've never quite the fan of wubs and what have you to be honest. while that is what made Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites what it is, you have produced something amazing without it. i particularly enjoy that you have brought out the melody so beautifully.
