Nice, nice...

I know what this is. It is none other than Tutankoopa's theme! I had remixed this song as well way back. Does the name ninjakoopa-33 ring any bells? :P

It sounds pretty good so far. Nice synths. Likin' the bass line as well. The kicks could use some more "kick' to them. Give them a bit more "oomph".

Good stuff. I would love to hear the final product.

Thanks for the feedback! And yes, I remember you. This was, in all honesty, kind of inspired by your own song. I'll hopefully have the finished song up in a week or two, but I'm not quite sure at this point.

Happy Halloween 2010!

This is quite lovely <3

I love the classical element, as well as the drum & bass touch. The concept of mixing both together was something new to me, but you and Jesse pulled it off well.

I love this break here.

This is a definite download. Good stuff. Cheers!

wyldfyre1 responds:

Glad ya like it for sure. It was written for a due date on halloween 2009 sadly it just missed the date and ended up posted after halloween haha. Over all though it did get some great reviews and fans. So glad you liked it & thanks for the reivew.

Nice.

'tis a good loop. Listening to this tune is making me happy as well. On top of that it loops well.

I feel that it is lacking though. It could use some more instruments, particularly some drums (although maybe adding anything more may disturb the happy vibe). As simple as this is though, it is still good.

For your first FL creation this is nice. Cheers!

Falonefal responds:

Thanks a lot! :)

Awesome.

I always love listening to Megaman, and what a great track to cover. I am loving the drums, and the guitar is pretty sick. Excellent work!

My only compliant is the silence at the end. Everything else was great.

Epic.

Excellent work you two. Cheers!

Mikeaudio responds:

Agreed, the silence is a pain. I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Awesome.

This blows the original completely away.

I'm really liking this song. The sounds you use throughout this are nice. That deep drip (?) is pretty cool, and the other various sounds blend in perfectly with each other.

Love the refrain here. Smooth transition from a fast pace to a slow, calm speed.

Awesome as always Myke. Cheers!

DJMyke responds:

Heh heh... That deep drip you're talkin about is actually a synthesizer. I tried my best to make this seem like it belongs in space somewhere, guess I hit that nail on the head huh?

Ya know what, after 2:15 I didn't kno what to do, so I just threw something there so it would loop.

Thanks for the feedback!

Okay.

Always loved this theme. Code Geass had some of the best themes in my opinion. I enjoyed listening to this, though there are some flaws.

Tempo. That is the main issue I have with this song. As I'm listening to this you seem to speed up here and slow down there. Some notes are cut off short while others are longer than they should be.

Aside from that, good work. 'tis an okay cover, though with some cleaning up it could be better.

01Glitch01 responds:

Thank you for the criticism. i didnt realize that untill after i posted it. ive been playing it by ear, and i started practicing it like a week ago. ill fix that and post a new one sometime.

Beautiful.

Now this is beautiful, to say the least. It is very tranquil, very calm. I'm liking the simplicity of this, as well as the piano.

Not a thing I would change about this one. Good work!

GroovyGuga responds:

It's good to know that my best music is a calm music

Thanks for the review anyway.

Good.

Good song, though it doesn't fit the World of War title. The percussion is just too soft in my opinion.

Another complaint is the lack of variety. The percussion is the same throughout without any change, as well as the lead. I prefer something with variety rather than it being repetitive. Mix things up!

It does loop well though. I'm just not getting that "World of War" atmosphere from this.

GroovyGuga responds:

Actually, the original name was "War song", but I thought that was too simple for this music, So when i was posting in NG i changed to World of War.

And about the lack of variety, yes I almost didn't changed the default rhythm, I jst modified and put the drum. I think
if you pay some attention the two world songs looks a little like.

And again, thanks for the review

P.S.: If you want to respond any of my responses, please PM me.

Okay.

It's okay for a first song, though you have much to improve on.

Off the bat, I would say work on EQ. It's good to have a song loud, but it's better if a song is loud AND sounds good.

I felt the beginning was too slow. Doesn't get you into the song y'know? In fact, I thought the whole song was just slow and choppy. I would like to hear a song that flows smoothly throughout.

For a first song, it's not all bad.

GroovyGuga responds:

Dude thanks for the review, I will work on that, did you checked out my other songs? Ok, i see you did.

Calm.

Something you would expect to hear while trekking across the desert. Love the sound of the guitar. Very good sound quality.

While I loved the different guitar parts blending together, that last pitch bend ruined it. Not the best ending in my opinion.

Aside from that, it was nice to listen to.

Doumaaa responds:

Haha yes true, I could've deleted that last part. Most of these things are made just by improvising and when I just play around I don't put too much weight on it.. it was made just for fun in one afternoon. Thanks for the review.
